Information provided in obtaining personal data from a data subject – applicants under Art. 13 of the GDPR Regulation


Personal data processing is performed by the data controller Trnavská NAD, a.s. with its registered office at Nitrianska 5, Trnava 917 54.

The purpose of personal data processing: keeping records of applicants, selecting suitable applicants for vacant posts, contacting and inviting selected applicants for job interviews. The legal basis for the processing of such personal data is the legitimate interest of the data controller in recruiting qualified employees to relevant job positions.

Data subjects: applicants.

The list of processed personal data: CV or job application data such as name, surname, degree, contact details, qualifications and experience of an applicant.

The data controller does not provide any processed personal data to other recipients, nor does it publish the processed data.

Estimated time for erasure of personal data:  immediately after sending a negative response to an applicant who has not been selected.

The data controller guarantees the protection of processed personal data by specifically designed measures. No personal data acquired by the employer are transferred to third countries (outside the EU) or to international organisations. A person responsible for supervision of personal data protection has not been appointed. The supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection, Hraničná 12, Bratislava

A data subject has the right to:

  • request from the data controller access to personal data relating the data subject,
  • request from the data controller rectification of processed personal data,
  • request from the data controller erasure of processed personal data,
  • request from the data controller restriction of processing and object to processing, where the legal basis is not a legal obligation of the data controller to process personal data,
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

The right of the data subject to object to automated decision-making, including profiling, may not be exercised because the described processing activity does not include automated decision-making.

The data subject may exercise the abovementioned rights in writing, by sending an application to the registered office of the data controller, or electronically, by sending an application to the e-mail address: sekretariat@tnad.sk

The right of the data subject to request from the data controller personal data relating to him/her, which he/she has provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format for the purpose of transferring to another data controller may not be exercised because the processing is not based on the consent of the data subject or a contract.

The data subject is obliged to provide the data controller with personal data as the provision of the data contained in the CV or the job application is a necessary requirement for the possible conclusion of a contract of employment. Without providing this information, the applicant cannot be invited to a job interview, and thus the employment relationship could not even be established.
